The 2nd Zijing Cup Badminton Tournament

On December 11, 2021, the 2nd 'Zijing Cup' Badminton Tournament for Malaysian China graduates, hosted by the AGTHUM, concluded successfully. Jinan University's team once again secured the championship, achieving a back-to-back victory. Ling Lik Hang and Zhang Wanyi from Jinan University exhibited outstanding performances, both earning the Male and Female MVP awards.

The tournament, held again after 2019, invited a total of four teams: Tsinghua-Peking University Joint Team, Jinan University Team, Zhejiang University, and Communication University of China Joint Team, including Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China Agricultural University, and Renmin University of China Joint Team. Over 40 alumni from various Chinese universities competed for victory, receiving active responses and support from major alumni associations.

'No Tsinghua without sports,' the Zijing Cup aims to promote the spirit of sports among Tsinghua people. Through sports competitions, it seeks to establish and promote a lifestyle characterized by robust physical fitness, agile thinking, and a proactive and courageous approach to life. The association hopes that this competition will foster friendly interactions among alumni and bring a ray of sunshine to the post-pandemic era.
